- Call the Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) immediately
- Report the incident to your local election officials
- Document what happened as safely as you can (details about the incident, including time, location, and descriptions of those involved). Report the incident to the U.S. Department of Justice voting rights hotline at 1-800-253-3931
- If you feel physically threatened or are encountering violence, call 911
